Having noticed the enclosed advertisement in this morning ’s World magazine, I hope to apply for the advertised position. I feel that I am competent to meet the requirements that your company has specified.
I am twenty-seven years of age. After graduating from high school, I took a two- year business course in Beijing University of Chemical Science. Then I started to work in a lawyer’s office, where I am employed at present. I now hope to enter an office where the work requires greater individual responsibility and judgment than now, and where there are more opportunities for advancement.
